Remembrance Day 2020

Due to the pandemic our usual Remembrance Service had to be limited to only key figures unfortunately. We wanted to share how we marked the day with you all, and here are some photographs from the service.

Garden Competition

Ecclesfield Parish Council are working with the local ‘In Bloom’ groups to run a Garden Competition.

Chairman Present Awards

On Thursday 5 September, Chairman, Cllr Terry Bawden present Michael Appleby and Alison Gethin with the Chairman’s Awards for their community spirit. Both people are ex-councillors however agreed to continue signing cheques to allow the parish council to function during the change-over of administration. They continued for an extended period all because one ex-councillor refused to remove their name from the council’s bank accounts.

Michael Appleby does sterling work running the Chapelgreen Advice Centre & Alison Gethin has been very active in the running of Friends of Chapeltown Parks.
