Celebrating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee!

The Parish Council would like to offer a big ‘Thank You’ to the thousands of you who joined us on Thursday 2 June 2022 at a series of events across the Ecclesfield Parish to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee – which marks Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years of service.

The festivities began with the Town Crier (Councillor John Housley, Chairman of the Parish Council) making a proclamation across various locations heralding the lighting of the beacons later that day.

This was followed in the afternoon by a ‘Decorate a cake a fit for the Queen’ competition and the announcement of the winner of the school’s bunting competition.
