Christmas travel update from Travel South Yorkshire

Christmas and New Year services:
Bus, tram, and train services will run differently over the festive season. In some cases, last departures will be earlier than usual, or there will be limited or no service.
A summary of the services you can expect to see during this time can be found on the dedicated webpage at travelsouthyorkshire.com/christmas.
Sheffield Christmas public transport travel offer
This month, Sheffield City Council are offering 10,000 free TravelMaster CityWide Day travel tickets, worth £5.90, to help people get around the city on the run up to Christmas.
How to claim a free ticket
The offer, limited to one ticket per person, is available via the BetterPoints Sheffield app to new and existing users – with just 50 points required to claim the free ticket. Anyone downloading and registering with the BetterPoints app for the first time will receive 100 points by completing a short survey which means new users can claim a free CityWide Day ticket, allowing them a day of unlimited bus and tram travel in Sheffield until Sunday 24 December.

Customers are reminded to check their services before they travel.
