South Yorkshire Police & South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Joint Community Safety Department would like to take this opportunity to announce their annual Lifewise Open Day.
The event will be held at Lifewise Centre Hellaby Rotherham S66 8LB a purpose built fully interactive set https://www.lifewise999.co.uk/, on Thursday 3rd August 2023, which is just off Junction 1 of the M18 by car, and easily accessible by the X1 bus service if you have no access to a vehicle.
On the day there will be Police and Fire vehicles and representation from lots of departments from Fire & Police. There will be demonstrations and inputs on offer throughout the day on varying subjects. There will be some refreshments available on site including drinks and snacks.
There will be lots of child friendly activities on the day including, colouring stations, find the missing bear, scavenger hunt, uniform try on and finger printing plus lots of other things to see and do. The event is free to attend and open to all ages. As the centre is indoors its an event that the British weather cannot spoil
The day will start at 10:00 and end at 15:00. Car parking very limited, so please bear this in mind when attending.
