| CADET RECRUITMENT 2023:
South Yorkshire Police are recruiting for Volunteer Cadets until 30 April 2023. Cadets participate in a variety of activities and training as well as learning about the various roles within the Police. The online application form is available until 30 April 2023. • Applicants must be 15 years of age by 31 August 2023 and no older than 17 years of age by 31 March 2024 • Applicants need to live in South Yorkshire • Cadets are based in each of the four Districts (subject to available places) • Applicants must be able to attend the weekly cadet night every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-8:00pm during term-times • Applicants may be background checked but previous incidents with the police are not always an automatic bar to joining the cadets • Induction days are held in July & August (you will be invited to attend 2 full days ) • Cadet evenings begin in September 2023 Volunteer Cadet – Join SYP – SYP (southyorks.police.uk) Any queries regarding our Cadet programme can be addressed to; cadets@southyorks.pnn.police.uk
