Stagecoach fare changes – from Sunday 7 January

Stagecoach Yorkshire has informed South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) of their decision to apply a price rise to their range of products from Sunday 7 January2024.

What are the price changes?

From Sunday 7 January 2024 Stagecoach is applying a price rise to their range of products with some products increasing by circa 20%.

Any single bus journey currently under £2 will be standardised at £1.50.

All return fares will be removed.

Gold tickets will remain unchanged until March 2024.

* – This ticket will only be valid for travel on Supertram up to 21 March 24. A new operating company will operate Supertram from 22 March who will confirm ticketing arrangements in early 2024.

** – This ticket will no longer be available when Supertram is operated by a new operator from 22 March 24.

How are these changes being communicated to customers?

The new prices will be introduced from Sunday 7 January 2024 and Stagecoach will inform customers of the price changes via their website at stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/yorkshire/fare-changes-january-2024.

Stagecoach will also be publishing posts online via Twitter to advise customers of the change in pricing as well as promoting the changes via posters on onboard their vehicles.
