Police Cadets are recruiting

Cadets represent the Force at community events and participate in a variety of activities and training as well as learning about the various roles within the Police

The online application form is available until 30 April 2022 via the following link:

Applicants must be 15 years of age by 31 August 2022 and no older than 17 years of age by 31 March 2023
Applicants need to live in South Yorkshire
Cadets are based in each of the four Districts (subject to available places)
Applicants must be able to attend the weekly cadet night every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-8:00pm during term-times
Applicants may be background checked but previous incidents with the police are not always an automatic bar to joining the cadets
Induction days are held in July & August (you will be invited to attend 1 full day and 1 half day)
Cadet evenings begin in September 2022
