Sheffield City Council’s Parks and Countryside have started planting whips now in Grenoside Park. It was hoped that this would be Community event however, due to the Coronavirus restrictions this unfortunately had to be cancelled. The trees are being planted by contractors so that they don’t miss the planting season, however, we are hopeful to have a ‘Love Your Trees’ day once the restrictions ease where children and community members can offer the little whips some TLC to help them grow.There is also going to be planting on Charlton Brook this season as well.
