Each year, the Parish Council provides grants to local community groups and organisations with the aim to support and encourage community groups to undertake activities that meet the needs of and benefit the residents of the Parish of Ecclesfield.
The Parish Council provides two tiers of funding:
- A Community Groups Small Grant Programme up to £2,000.
- A Community Groups Large Project Programme over £2,000 and up to £10,000.
There will be two closing dates for the submission of applications. These are 9th September 2024 (for consideration in September/October 2024) and 10th February 2025, subject to funds still being available (for consideration in February/March 2025).

The Parish Council is committed to providing assistance and support to voluntary, community, self-help and generally not-for-profit based in or who serve the parish of Ecclesfield.
Applications are assessed against criteria detailed in these policies and procedures, which is annually reviewed.
