🌳The Queen’s Green Canopy tree planting event/ plaque unveiling, Chapeltown Park🌳

On Sunday 4th December 2022 representatives from Ecclesfield Parish Council, Wortley Rotary Club, Sheffield City Council, and South Yorkshire Police together with Deputy Lord Lieutenant Rev Peter Bradley and members of the local community came together to unveil a plaque and a circle of seven trees in memoriam to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The plaque was kindly sponsored by Wortley Rotary Club.

The event coincided with National Tree Planting week (28th November-4th December) with the trees soon to be registered as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy Initiative.
